British American Tobacco United Kingdom has an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager in London (Chiswick).

Are you passionate about Trade Marketing, digital platforms, and building strong retailer partnerships?

Join us as a B2B Development Manager to drive innovative engagement programs, shape our B2B platform, and bring retailers’ voices at the heart of our trade strategy. In this role, you’ll play a key part in designing and delivering initiatives that help Independent Retailers succeed while strengthening BAT’s trade presence across the UK.

Responsibilities
  • Developing and expanding the BAT UK B2B program and platform, delivering impactful campaigns in line with brand & category strategy.
  • Driving stakeholder engagement and using insights to continuously improve brand activation.
  • Creating innovative consumer and retailer engagement tools across both traditional and new product categories.
  • Leading integrated campaigns that maximize retailer participation and visibility.
  • Representing BAT at key trade events and strengthening our presence through sponsorships.
  • Developing BAT Club into the go-to RTM / B2B e-commerce platform for new categories.
  • Acting as the owner of the Customer Voice program and facilitating Retailer Roundtables to ensure feedback drives change.
  • Working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution and impactful results.
Qualifications
  • Extensive FMCG experience within global companies, ideally in Trade Marketing or related roles.
  • Proven track record in field force management/support and engaging retail networks.
  • Strong project management and commercial skills, with a talent for turning insights into actionable strategies.
  • Expertise in retailer & consumer segmentation, and experience shaping impactful brand and trade strategies.
  • A natural leader who motivates teams, builds strong stakeholder relationships, and drives positive change.
  • Someone who thrives on driving innovation, leading transformation, and delivering tangible impact.
