Job Description
What's the role?
Wise Business is entering an exciting new era. We’re looking for an experienced B2B Content Marketing manager to help position Wise as the best financial solution for businesses with global money needs and ambitions to scale fast. We’re looking for an editorial expert, with a knack for creating snappy headlines, engaging copy and thought leadership that stops business leaders in their tracks - and gets them clicking through for more.
You’ll be embedded in Wise’s Business marketing squad but will have the opportunity to work in a truly dynamic and cross-functional marketing team dedicated to the growth of Wise for Business.
You’ll get close to the audience you’re creating content for, gathering insights on what drives impact and what our customers need from an international business account. You’ll build on your learnings to conceptualise, produce and publish world-class content marketing that amplifies awareness for the Wise Business brand and helps generate new prospects.
You’ll work across a wide range of channels, from social media to white papers and video scripts to events content. You'll have the opportunity to flex your content skills to engage and convert our target audience segments for Wise Business, from startups to enterprise level across a growing range of verticals.
To create this world-class content, you’ll need to have your finger on the pulse with industry news and be instrumental in keeping the squad up-to-date with the latest trends from our target industries and competitors. This will inform our content strategy and position Wise as a thought leader and authority on driving growth and scaling internationally.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and create B2B content marketing assets targeting founders and key decision makers in fast-growing startups and small to medium sized businesses, with a focus on the SaaS, consulting and e-commerce industries.
Independently identify content topics and trends, source internal and external experts, and write content to meet content targets.
Create and grow a suite of content for business customer acquisition and our overall lead and demand generation efforts.
Generate assets for use across the Awareness and Consideration stages of the marketing funnel, including blogs, infographics, white papers, authoritative reports and thought leadership as well as webinars, videos and social media posts.
Work with our existing business customers to build case studies, testimonials and thought leadership.
Become a Wise product expert and help us showcase the value we can add to businesses across the world.
Collaborate with our SEO Content team on closing the gaps on our ownable topics with original, value-add content to complement our customer acquisition strategy.
Work with our embedded design team to effectively manage production of content marketing assets to ensure brand consistency and strategic alignment.
Qualifications
A love of words and content marketing, naturally. Preferably with a business journalism or sponsored content background with best-in-class editorial skills.
Experience in B2B roles / payments industry and an interest in understanding the needs of (and how to speak to) financial professionals and business owners is essential. You should also be experienced in turning complex technological concepts into engaging, snappy, easy to understand content with a knack for tuning into the pain points and challenges of our target audience.
