GROUND-UP TECH STARTUP OPPORTUNITY
Join a fast-growing proptech founded by ex-unicorn and property industry leaders.
Our Mission
Buying and selling a property in the UK is a nightmare. Transactions drag on for months and have a 40% chance of collapsing completely. We’re on a mission to change this and help our customers find and get the keys to their dream home up to 95% faster than it currently takes.
To do this we’re combining a brand new way of buying and selling property with a platform built on modern technology to deliver a fantastic experience for our customers and completely change the way property is bought and sold in the UK.
We’d love you to join us on this journey and help us redefine buying and selling property as a fast, easy and exciting experience.
The Role
This is an in-person, high-ownership role focused on getting estate agent offices live on Propelr. You’ll be the person who makes sure onboarding actually happens — not just by explaining what to do, but by sitting in their office, guiding them through the process and making sure it gets done.
You’ll work closely alongside a BD Manager who will bring the charm and build the relationship with our partner estate agent offices. Your job is to bring the process, the pressure, and the polish — pushing things over the line when the agents inevitably get distracted, delay, or default to old habits. This isn’t a passive training role. It’s a hands-on, behaviour-changing one.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Visiting new estate agent offices in person and guiding them through a structured onboarding process;
- Running onboarding sessions with estate agents — presenting the Propelr proposition and embedding our ways of working;
- Using tactics, incentives, nudges, and subtle pressure to make sure things get done in the room, not just promised and forgotten about;
- Tracking and managing onboarding progress across multiple offices simultaneously;
- Running structured check-ins post-launch to reinforce process adoption and spot drop-off risks early;
- Collaborating with BD Managers to identify and coach champions inside each office;
- Continuously improving our onboarding playbook based on what works and what doesn’t in the field;
- Feeding back insights from the ground to help refine our approach, tooling, and commercial tactics.
Here’s the Reality of the Role:
- Agents Say Yes, Then Do Nothing: Estate agents love the pitch, agree to everything, and then ghost you. They’re busy people working under a lot of pressure in a broken industry. Your job is to expect this, pre-empt it, and build tactics that keep them honest and engaged.
- This Is a Tactical Role: You’re not giving lectures. You’re in their office, face to face, asking for logins, amending documents, checking WhatsApp groups, and making things happen right there and then.
- It Only Works if They Use It: Our value is proven by behaviour change, not signatures. You need to help them start using Propelr immediately after go-live. If they don’t, they forget us.You’l
- l Use Smart Tricks: Building FOMO, utilising peer pressure, incentives, accountability nudges. You’ll have to get creative to make adoption stick. We’ll arm you with tools and stories to help.
What You’re Signing Up For:
- Own the Onboarding Journey: You’ll be responsible for making sure new offices go from interested to activated. If something doesn’t happen, it’s your problem to solve.
- Act Fast, Think on Your Feet: No two offices are the same. You’ll learn to read a room, pivot in the moment, and do what it takes to keep the momentum going.Be th
- e Process Enforcer: While the BD Manager builds the relationship, you’ll make sure the process gets implemented the right way. You’ll be the one who says: “Nope, let’s do it now.”Build
- the Playbook: You won’t just follow the onboarding process — you’ll help define it. We’ll expect you to notice what works, what doesn’t, and suggest better ways of doing things.
Why It’s Worth It
- You’ll Help Transform a Broken Industry: You’ll help build something rare: a modern, tech-enabled business fixing the UK’s broken, antiquated residential transaction process.
- You’ll See the Direct Impact: You’ll know immediately if you’re doing a good job. Offices that you onboard successfully send us business. Offices that stall, don’t. Simple.You’l
- l Get to Build Something That Works: This is one of the most critical roles in the business. If onboarding doesn’t stick, the model doesn’t work. You’ll help us crack it.You’l
- l Work Closely with Leadership: You’ll sit in the commercial team and work closely with BD and ops. You’ll get visibility on what’s working across the whole business.There
- ’s Room to Grow: As we scale, this team will grow. If you’re great, you could end up running it.
Who This Is For
- You’ve done something like this before. Maybe you were an onboarding or implementation specialist in a marketplace startup. Maybe you were in a field training or sales enablement role. Maybe you’ve had some kind of commercial experience and want to get closer to the ground.
- You’re sharp, energetic, and confident walking into someone else’s office and taking control. You don’t need property experience, but you do need to understand how to get someone from “interested” to “doing.”
- You’re not shy about pushing. You’re structured, socially smart, and quietly persuasive. You know when to lean in, when to lighten the mood, and when to say “Let’s just do it now.”
- You want to work in a fast-paced team. You want to help build a machine that works and be part of fixing one of the UK’s slowest, messiest industries.
- How We Work
- The sales and operations teams operate a hybrid model designed to give you flexibility while maintaining strong team connection.
- You will be required to be in the office three days a week – usually for all-in days, team lunches, focus sessions, or socials. The rest of the time, you can work from anywhere in the UK. Our office near Barbican is always open, and you're welcome to use it as much as you like.
- Our culture prioritises high trust and high performance. That means we give you autonomy and flexibility – and in return, we expect ownership, pace, and thoughtful, high-quality work.
- If that sounds like the kind of environment you’d thrive in, submit your application today.

Our process is simple and respectful of your time. It’s broken down into three distinct stages:
- Introductory chat with our COO (up to 45 mins) – This is a chance to learn about each other and ask questions;
- A take-home case study (2 hours max. to be done at your own pace) to allow you to get a taste of the sort of things you might do at Propelr and to demonstrate how you think, followed up with a presentation and review of your take-home coding exercise with the Sales & Ops team (60 mins);
- Culture and values interviews (60 minutes) – In this session, you’ll meet with our CEO and/or CTO to dive into company values — how you approach ownership, feedback, learning, and collaboration, and how those values have shown up in your past roles.
- We aim to complete the process within 3 weeks.
