Job summary

Jet2.com is seeking a B2 Licensed Engineer at our London Gatwick base. This full-time role operates on a 4-on 4-off pattern, including days and nights, to support our expanding fleet this Summer season.

You will perform maintenance on Jet2.com aircraft, uphold high safety standards, and collaborate across teams to keep schedules on track. A UK CAA B2 licence and full UK driving licence are essential, with career progression and benefits on offer.

Qualifications

• UK CAA B2 Licence held with experience on commercial aircraft.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Experience on Jet2.com aircraft types is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair tasks on Jet2.com aircraft in accordance with regulatory and company standards.
• Ensure aircraft are maintained to the highest safety and performance standards.
• Prioritise and manage workload efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure seamless operations.
• Maintain accurate records of work carried out.

What will you do in the role? :

• Perform maintenance and repair tasks on Jet2.com aircraft in accordance with regulatory and company standards.
• Ensure aircraft are maintained to the highest safety and performance standards.

Requirements:

• UK CAA B2 Licence with experience working on commercial aircraft.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Ideally hold current approval for the following Jet2.com aircraft types: Airbus A321 CEO/NEO. B737-800NG would be advantageous although not essential.
• Highly organised and able to prioritise work in a dynamic environment.
• Proficient knowledge of aircraft systems, components, and maintenance procedures.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
