Shift Schedule

4X4 Day Shift: 0700 - 1900

Education and Experience Requirements

Other EASA Part 66 Aircraft Maintenance License with relevant aircraft Type Ratings required, along with certification experience within an EASA Part 145 organization.

Position Purpose: The Licensed Avionics B2 Inspector is responsible for ensuring compliance with maintenance, inspection, and legislative standards as specified by EASA and the Quality and Airworthiness Manager.

Job Description

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Acting as an inspector in support of specific aircraft, line or base maintenance input in accordance with MOE Part 146, as revised.
2. Performing the day-to-day duties and responsibilities of a Maintenance Team Leader, when requested by a Service Team Manager.
3. Managing manpower resources, including licensed mechanical and avionics inspectors and fitters, as assigned to specific aircraft or maintenance tasks.
4. Certifying tasks they have been trained on and authorized to perform, including inspecting and certifying, at Luton main base and other locations worldwide.
5. Promoting and ensuring maintenance commitments are fulfilled within the scheduled time, and communicating delays promptly.
6. Ensuring all maintenance documentation is completed fully before shift end or task reassignments.

Additional Functions include sharing departmental strategies, advising on difficulties, monitoring departmental goals, maintaining departmental standards, ensuring proper handovers, attending meetings, and promoting quality standards.

Other Requirements include extensive line and base maintenance experience, aircraft inspection and certification experience, knowledge of aviation legislation, good communication and computer skills, flexibility, and organization.
