Job summary

Ryanair Ltd. in the UK is seeking a B2 Licensed Engineer to join East Midlands Roamer operations. The role covers line maintenance on Ryanair's 737 fleet, operating from East Midlands Airport with 4N4O rotation and availability to cover UK line bases as required.

The successful candidate will hold UK CAA or EASA Part-66 B2 license with Boeing 737-NG endorsement; 737-7/8/9 endorsements are desirable. You will supervise mechanics and contribute to safe, compliant operations.

B2 LICENSED ENGINEER – EAST MIDLANDS ROAMER

AES (Aircraft Engineering Services Ltd) are inviting applications for B2 Licensed Engineers to be based at East Midlands Airport on 4N4O rotation but covering all line bases within the UK when required, working in cooperation with our client Ryanair, Europe’s largest airline.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR:

• UK CAA or EASA Pt 66 Qualified B2 Licensed Engineers with Boeing 737-NG (Essential) and Boeing 737-7/8/9 (Desirable) Type Ratings.

The successful candidate will be a self-motivated individual with existing line maintenance experience, who is able to supervise personnel and demonstrate a flexible working attitude in a fast-changing environment.

Duties – The successful candidate will report to the Station Manager and be responsible for:

• Routine servicing and defect rectification of Ryanair’s 737-800 and 737-8200 Fleet.
• Aircraft on Ground (AOG) recovery.
• Maintaining a safe and compliant working environment, adhering to all company procedures, policies and regulations.
• Supervision and mentoring of Aircraft Mechanics and Apprentices.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Aircraft Line Maintenance experience (Essential).
• EASA or UK CAA* Part-66 B2 License holder (Essential):
  • Boeing 737-NG Type Endorsement & Recency (Essential).
  • Boeing 737-Max Type Endorsement & Recency (Desirable – Type Courses Available).
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written (Essential).
• Good IT Literacy (Essential), with AMOS Experience (Desirable).

All applicants must have unrestricted right to work and travel in the UK and hold a Full UK Driving Licence.

* UK CAA Licences are accepted; however, the applicant must be able to demonstrate 5 Years Maintenance Experience and have completed, or able to complete EASA Module 9 (Human Factors) & Module 10 (Aviation Legislation).
