B1 Licensed Engineer (Roamer) – East Midlands / Birmingham

We are seeking a self‑motivated B1 Licensed Engineer to be based at East Midlands or Birmingham Airport, working on a roaming basis, covering multiple UK bases.

About the Role

In this role the engineer will be responsible for routine servicing and defect rectification of the 737‑800 and 737‑8200 fleet, assist with aircraft on ground (AOG) recovery and maintain a safe and compliant working environment.

Responsibilities

• Routine servicing and defect rectification of Ryanair’s 737‑800 and 737‑8200 fleet.
• Aircraft on Ground (AOG) recovery.
• Maintain a safe and compliant working environment, adhering to all company procedures, policies and regulations.
• Supervise and mentor Aircraft Mechanics and Apprentices.

Qualifications and Experience

• Aircraft line maintenance experience (essential).
• EASA or UK CAA Part‑66 B1 license holder (essential). Includes:
  • Boeing 737‑NG type endorsement (essential).
  • Boeing 737‑Max type endorsement & recency (desirable – type courses available).
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written (essential).
• Good IT literacy (essential), with AMOS experience (desirable).
• Unrestricted right to work and travel in the UK and full UK driving licence (essential).
• UK CAA licences accepted if the applicant can demonstrate 5 years maintenance experience and can complete EASA Module 9 (Human Factors) & Module 10 (Aviation Legislation).
