Job summary
Aeropeople Limited are recruiting a B2 Licensed Engineer (base maintenance) for a client in Carterton, Oxfordshire. The role involves certifying maintenance tasks, supervising staff, and ensuring regulatory compliance to keep aircraft airworthy and mission-ready.
Expect a mix of day and night shifts on a 4 on/5 off etc. Basic salary £73,788 plus £5,628 shift allowance, with an annual bonus scheme and comprehensive benefits including pension, private medical insurance, income protection and more.
Qualifications
- CAA B2 Licence with at least one type rating.
- Experience certifying maintenance tasks in Base Maintenance.
- Knowledge of zonal maintenance practices and structured systems.
- Ability to mentor junior staff.
Responsibilities
- Certify aircraft servicing and maintenance tasks per regulations.
- Supervise technical staff to ensure safe work.
- Own aircraft documentation and ensure timely certification entries.
- Control materials, tooling and keep a clean, safe workspace.
- Escalate safety or disciplinary matters to Line Manager.
- Deputise for Senior Engineers when needed.
