Job summary

Jet2.com is seeking a B2 Licensed Engineer to join the Belfast Engineering Team. You will perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on Jet2.com aircraft, certify work and release aircraft to service, and support turnarounds in a fast-paced airport environment.

Alongside UK CAA Part-66 B2 licensure and a full UK driving licence, you will collaborate with engineers, flight crew and operations to uphold safety standards and ensure on-time departures across our growing fleet.

Qualifications

• UK CAA Part-66 B2 Licence with experience on commercial aircraft.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Experience on Boeing 737-800NG, 737-300 or Airbus A321 CEO/NEO preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on Jet2.com aircraft in accordance with regulatory and company requirements.
• Certify maintenance activities and release aircraft to service, ensuring the highest standards of safety and compliance are maintained.
• Diagnose and rectify aircraft defects efficiently, minimising disruption to the operation.
• Support aircraft turnarounds and respond to operational priorities in a dynamic airport environment.
• Collaborate closely with Engineers, Mechanics, Flight Crew and Operations teams to keep our aircraft moving safely and on time.
• Ensure all maintenance documentation and records are completed accurately and in line with regulatory requirements.
• Promote a positive safety culture by maintaining exceptional standards of workmanship, compliance and attention to detail.
