Job summary

AirX Jet Support, a UK CAA/EASA approved MRO, is recruiting a B2 Licensed Aircraft Engineer to supervise Mechanics and certify scheduled maintenance on CL-600, EMB-135 and ERJ-190 fleets. The role is based at the London Stansted Diamond Hangar with a 5-5-4 shift pattern and potential overtime.

You will lead a team, ensure timely completion of work, and maintain comprehensive maintenance records while adhering to Part 145 and company procedures.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid UK CAA and/or EASA B2 Part 66 Aircraft Maintenance Licence.
• Minimum 1 year of certification privileges in Line or Base Maintenance.
• Type rating on CL-600, EMB-135 or ERJ-190 highly desirable.
• Familiarity with Part 145 regulatory requirements.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and in-house systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of Mechanics performing Base Maintenance on aircraft.
• Inspect and certify scheduled maintenance tasks, rectify defects, and perform modifications, repairs and functional tests.
• Ensure all work is completed to optimise aircraft downtime and maintain schedules.
• Maintain accurate maintenance documentation, job cards, handovers and logbooks.
• Utilise the MRO system accurately for maintenance activities and records.
• Keep work areas clean and compliant with safety and regulatory requirements.
• Promote safety culture, quality control and FOD prevention.
• Escalate technical issues and coordinate with the Production Manager.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and lean initiatives.
• Foster collaboration and ensure compliance with company processes.
• Open to occasional work away from London Stansted as required.
