Job summary

AirX Jet Support Ltd. is recruiting a B1 Licensed Aircraft Engineer to supervise Mechanics and certify scheduled maintenance tasks on CL-600, EMB-135, or ERJ-190 aircraft. The role is based at London Stansted Diamond Hangar, operating a 5-5-4 rotational shift with overtime as required.

You will supervise mechanics, manage work packages, and ensure compliance with Part 145, safety and quality standards, while using the MRO system and maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• Hold UK CAA and/or EASA Category B1 Part 66 Licence.
• Type rating on CL-600, EMB-135 or ERJ-190.
• Minimum 1 year certification privileges in Line/Base Maintenance.
• 6 months recent type experience and authorisations.
• Understanding of Part 145 regulations.
• Experience with Veryon or other MMS.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Flexibility to adjust hours and travel.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of Mechanics in Base Maintenance.
• Inspect and certify scheduled maintenance; perform defect rectification and tests.
• Plan and allocate tasks to meet the workload and schedule.
• Ensure maintenance documentation and handovers are completed accurately.
• Operate and maintain the MRO system and ensure data integrity.
• Promote safety, quality, and lean principles across tasks.
