AirTanker is pleased to offer an excellent opportunity for a B1 Engineer to join our Line Maintenance team. What you'll be doing
- Certify servicing and maintenance tasks within the scope of your authorisation.
- Supervise technical staff to ensure safe, compliant working practices.
- Manage aircraft documentation and ensure accurate certification entries.
- Oversee materials, tools, and working environment cleanliness.
- Encourage and support a Just Culture through open reporting.
- Maintain high standards of Health, Safety & Environmental compliance.
- Liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including military colleagues.
- Support deployments, short‑notice flying tasks, and AOG recoveries.
- Act as lead engineer on flying tasks, ensuring effective communication with Part CAMO.
- Provide comprehensive debriefs for oncoming shifts.
What you'll bring
- CAA B1 Licence with A330 Type Rating and company authorisation.
- Demonstrated experience in line maintenance certification.
- Proven leadership capability, with experience mentoring and developing others.
- Strong understanding of line maintenance operational demands.
- Ability to drive objectives and deliver within set timescales.
- Competent user of Airnav and Envision systems.
- Effective communication skills, including liaison with external agencies.
- Experience leading short‑notice AOG recoveries, including from deployed locations.
