Job summary

Ryanair, collaborating with Aircraft Engineering Services Ltd, is seeking B1 Licensed Engineers for roving assignments across Manchester, Liverpool, and Leeds/Bradford bases. You will perform line maintenance on the 737-800/737-8200, support AOG recovery, and mentor junior staff while maintaining safe, compliant operations.

The role requires a Part-66 B1 license, UK/ EASA eligibility, and strong communication and IT skills. Rotations are 2 days-on/2 off or 4 days-on/4 off with UK-wide travel.

Qualifications

• Aircraft Line Maintenance experience (Essential).
• UK CAA Licences are accepted; must demonstrate 5 years maintenance experience and be able to complete EASA Module 9 (Human Factors) & Module 10 (Aviation Legislation).
• Part-66 B1 License holder (Essential).
• Boeing 737-Max Type Endorsement & Recency desirable (Type courses available).

Responsibilities

• Routine servicing and defect rectification of Ryanair’s 737-800 and 737-8200 Fleet.
• Aircraft On Ground (AOG) recovery.
• Maintain a safe and compliant working environment in line with procedures and regulations.
• Supervision and mentoring of Aircraft Mechanics and Apprentices.
