Job summary

easyJet is seeking a B1 Licensed Engineer at London Luton Airport to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, rectify defects and certify work to required standards. You will assess work, prioritise tasks with Duty Engineer input, and ensure parts are approved and records are complete.

You may supervise small teams, with a focus on safety and on‑time departures. The role requires a UK Part 66 B1 licence, up‑to‑date airworthiness knowledge, and IT tools proficiency.

Qualifications

• UK Part 66 B1 licence with authorisation or equivalent on company aircraft.
• At least three years’ operational line maintenance experience preferred.
• Strong ability to communicate technical issues to management and collaborate in a team.
• Ability to use IT and maintenance reporting systems and knowledge of health and safety legislation.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, rectify defects and certify work.
• Assess workload and resources, prioritise tasks and keep duty engineer informed of progress and risks.
• Ensure parts and components are approved, certified and properly handled; maintain maintenance records and handovers.
