Job description

STS Aviation Services is rapidly growing, and we are looking for a B1 Licensed Aircraft Engineer to be part of our journey as the leading UK MRO. If you want to be part of the next chapter of our journey playing a key role at our Newquay Hangar, then we’d love to hear from you.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  1. Maintenance, repair, and overhaul of customer’s aircraft, including all forms of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and certification of maintenance within the scope of company approvals.
  2. Provide leadership and supervision to aircraft mechanics and support staff, leading by example to uphold maintenance standards.
  3. Ensure aircraft maintenance activities are performed in a timely and efficient manner, achieving full customer satisfaction, on-time performance, and technical dispatch reliability.
Skills and Experience:
  1. Part 66 CAA License, B1
  2. A320/B737 type ratings are preferable but not essential
  3. Previous Base Maintenance experience
  4. Ability to work in a dynamic environment and flexibility to meet changing requirements
  5. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  6. Full UK Driving licence (Essential)
  7. Proficiency in MS Office applications
