Job summary

Aeropeople Ltd seeks a permanent B1 Licensed Aircraft Engineer for Stansted Airport. You will be licensed to certify work on customer aircraft and may work on B737, B777, B747, A320 as needed; incumbents will join a dynamic, fast-paced team across line maintenance.

The role follows a 5/5/4 shift pattern with a competitive basic salary plus shift allowance, approval pay and a retention bonus. Benefits include a strong pension and life insurance, supporting a stable career in aviation maintenance.

Qualifications

• UK CAA Part 66 B1 License required.
• Type rated on B747 with PW4000 and/or CF6 engines and B777 with GE90 engines.
• Right to Work in the UK; sponsorship not provided.
• Recency preferable.

Responsibilities

• Shall be licensed and approved to certify work on customer’s aircraft, engines, equipment and systems.
• Inspect and sign for work as directed by the Line Maintenance Manager.
• Provide a Quality and Safety Control function to ensure high standards.
• Fly on customer's aircraft as Flight mechanic when required.
• Troubleshoot defects and manage recurring and deferred issues.
• Assist Deputy Line Maintenance Manager/Station Manager as required.
• Accept parts into stores under approved documents.
• Perform other duties as required.
• Operate within 5/5/4 shift pattern on site.
