B1 Licensed Engineer (Supervisor / Team Leader) | Long-Term Contract & Permanent Roles | EMA

We’re excited to offer both long-term contract and permanent opportunities for CAA or EASA B1 Licensed Engineers at East Midlands Airport (EMA).
These roles are ideally suited to engineers with supervisory experience, overseeing day-to-day operations, liaising with managers, and ensuring manpower needs are effectively met.

Location: East Midlands Airport, United Kingdom
Position: B1 Licensed Engineer (Supervisor)
Contract Type: Long-term, ongoing — Permanent positions also available
Shift Pattern: 5/5/4
Start Date: ASAP, with rolling starts throughout the year
Pay Rates: Market-leading and recently updated

Duties & Opportunities
  • Oversee daily maintenance operations, ensuring aircraft serviceability and regulatory compliance
  • Supervise and coordinate teams of mechanics and engineers, assigning manpower effectively
  • Act as the main point of contact between engineering teams and management
  • Perform and certify maintenance tasks within the scope of B1 authorisation
  • Ensure timely troubleshooting, defect rectification, and aircraft release to service
  • Maintain high safety standards and adherence to Part-145 and CAA/EASA regulations
  • Provide training, mentoring, and support to junior engineers and mechanics
  • Liaise with planners and managers to align maintenance activities with operational requirements
Requirements
  • Valid UK CAA or EASA Part-66 B1 License
  • Supervisory or team-lead experience in a maintenance environment
  • Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
  • Valid training certificates: Safety Training + Human Factors, EWIS (Modules 1 & 2), and FTS Level 2
