Job description

Aviation Freelancer are proud to be working on behalf of a leading business jet maintenance firm who are seeking to appoint a B1/C Licensed Engineer. Applicants must hold UK Part 66 and/or EASA Part 66 B1.1/C Licence and be Type rated on any of the following:


Cessna 525, Cessna 560XLS, Cessna 680A, Learjet 45, BD100 (CL300), CL600-2B16 (604 variant), BD700 Global

Skills, Duties and Knowledge
  • Assist and manage certifying base and line maintenance in accordance with the approved data on both group and customer aircraft within the allocated time frame.
  • Ensure that Airworthiness, Safety and Quality Controls are complied with at all times.
  • Computer literate and familiar with CAFAM and Microsoft Office products.
  • Must be able to demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of aircraft systems and industry procedures including troubleshooting of defects.
  • Must be highly proficient with aircraft documentation and have a broad skill set in aircraft maintenance, repair and troubleshooting.
  • Must have excellent communication skills at all levels.
  • Must have good planning and time management skills.
  • Must be highly motivated and a good team member.
  • Must be able to work under pressure and in a flexible manner.
  • Must have experience in managing large base maintenance checks and giving oversight to a team of support staff.
