Job summary

A leading aerospace engineering firm is seeking a permanent, full-time Licensed Engineer to join their team at London Gatwick Airport. The role involves maintaining aircraft, certifying work, and ensuring compliance with company procedures. Ideal candidates will have experience with B787 Gen-x and A330 NEO aircraft, along with a UK CAA licence. Willingness to work away from base is essential, as well as holding a full Driving Licence and valid Passport.

Qualifications

  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drugs and alcohol screening.

Overview

Mane Aerospace has a requirement for a permanent, full-time B2 or B1/B2 Licensed Engineer to join our Engineering team, based primarily at London Gatwick Airport.

Responsibilities
  • Completion of the tasks allocated to them on a shift-by-shift basis by the Area Station Manager or Shift Supervisor, or carried out as part of their routine duties, in accordance with company procedures.
  • Certification of the work carried out by themselves under the terms of, and within the limitations set by, their personal company authorisation.
  • Ensuring that they are familiar with the MOE and working procedures that affect their duties.
  • Performing engineering duties 'Away from Base' or at outstations as detailed by the Maintenance Manager or UK Station Manager.
  • Ensuring that the engineering facility, vehicles etc are maintained to the appropriate standard.
Requirements
  • Hold a UK CAA
  • Minimum B787 Gen-x and RR Trent 1000 and A330 NEO
  • Provide supporting Logbooks or worksheets demonstrating recency
  • EWIS, FTS, HF (Initial + recurrent)
  • Previous Line and base maintenance experience
  • Be willing to work away from base for company operations when required.
  • Hold a full and valid Driving Licence
  • Hold a valid Passport with the ability to reside and work in the UK.
  • Ability to provide information for 5 year referencing
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drugs and alcohol screening
