Job summary

PDG Aviation Services in Cumbernauld, United Kingdom, seeks a B1.3 Licensed Engineer to join the Engineering Department on a permanent full-time basis. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support line and base maintenance at PDG bases and occasional off-site sites.
• Perform aircraft maintenance using approved data and regulations.
• Complete maintenance safely, efficiently and in line with PDG policies.
• Identify, document and report aircraft defects after debrief with crew.
• Supervise engineering and support personnel as required.
• Ensure correct use and maintenance of tooling; keep a clean work environment.
• Carry out aircraft handling, refuelling, role changes and cleaning tasks.
• Provide general engineering and operational support to the department.

We are currently recruiting for a B1.3 Licensed Engineer to join our Engineering Department located at our Cumbernauld Base.

This role is a permanent full-time role, with a 28-day rotating shift pattern equating to an average of 35-hours per week across the cycle. The shift pattern comprises of 10-hour shifts on a cycle of 6 days on/4 days off, followed by 4 days on/6 days off.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support line and base maintenance activities at any PDG base and, when occasionally required, at off-site locations.
• Perform aircraft maintenance tasks in accordance with approved data, current regulations, industry best practice, and company authorisations, including certification of completed work within authorised scope.
• Complete all maintenance activities safely, efficiently, cost-effectively, and in compliance with PDG policies, processes, and procedures.
• Ensure aircraft defects are accurately identified, documented, and recorded following debrief with operational crew members.
• Supervise and provide guidance to engineering and support personnel as required.
• Ensure the correct use, care, and maintenance of tooling and support equipment while maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
• Carry out aircraft handling, refuelling, role changes, and cleaning activities in support of operational requirements.
• Provide general engineering and operational support to the Engineering Department and wider business as required.
