Job summary

Sloane Helicopters is seeking a motivated B1.3 Licensed Field Engineer to join our Engineering team at Sywell Aerodrome. The role covers hangar and field work across the UK, with travel to customer bases to provide hands-on support.

You will perform maintenance, inspections and fault diagnosis, certify tasks under your licence, and ensure records and regulatory requirements are met. A proactive team player with strong problem-solving skills is essential.

Qualifications

Must hold UK CAA Part 66 B1.3 aircraft maintenance licence.
Proven ability to diagnose faults and perform safe repairs.
Strong focus on safety and regulatory compliance.
Willingness to travel across the UK for customer support.

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance, inspections, fault diagnosis and rectification in hangar and in the field.
Diagnose and rectify aircraft defects efficiently and safely.
Travel to customer bases across the UK to provide engineering support.
Certify maintenance tasks within the licence scope and company approvals.
Ensure all work meets regulatory requirements and company procedures.
Complete accurate maintenance and technical records.
Collaborate with Engineering and planning teams to deliver excellent service.
