Aviation JobSearch Europa is recruiting for a reputable aviation employer in Bournemouth for a B1/B2 Licenced Aircraft Engineer to join the site at Bournemouth Airport. The role is onsite, full-time, with opportunities for type rating training.

Based at Bournemouth Airport, you will handle base maintenance tasks, certify works, ensure regulatory compliance and maintain licences and ratings, while delivering quality service to high-profile clients.

Qualifications

• UK CAA Part 66 Licence Category B1 or B2.
• Wide knowledge of servicing, inspection, repair and modifications.
• Satisfactory recency as required for certifying approval.
• Ability to work flexibly as part of a team.
• Strong communication and organisation skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete all allocated, planned and ad-hoc maintenance tasks.
• Act as supervising, certifying engineer to a given input and ensure scheduled customer orders are completed.
• Manage the quality and performance of works in line with company processes.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Maintain licences and type ratings and prevent lapses.
• Provide professional communication with customers and contacts.
• Record timekeeping accurately in the relevant software.

Our client is a highly reputable Business Aviation company, working across both fixed wing and rotary aircrafts. With continued growth across the business and a number of projects being secured, they are expanding their engineering capability at their Bournemouth site.

In light of this continued growth, we are seeking talented B1 and B2 Licenced Engineers to join their dynamic and progressive Engineering Team. This is a role where no two days are the same, you will gain valuable exposure to a wide variety of aircraft types, working in a fast faced and diverse operational environment supporting high profile clients.

They are offering type rating training for the right individuals alongside ongoing opportunities for professional development.

To Be Considered For This Position You Will Hold, a UK CAA/EASA Part 66 B1 Or B2 Licence, Preferably With One Of The Following Type Ratings

• Beechcraft King Air
• Cessna F406
• VulcanAir P68
• Bombardier Challenger CL-600-2A12/-2B16 (601, 604, 605)
• Bombardier Global / Global Express BD-700-1A10/-1A11
• Embraer EMB135/145
• Any Learjet type

Preferred candidates will already hold one of the listed type ratings, however applicants with other similar type ratings will be considered as training and type courses may be provided.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the successful completion of all allocated, planned and ad-hoc maintenance tasks
• Ensure the completion of scheduled customer order requirements when acting as supervising, certifying engineer for a given input
• Responsible for the management of and performance/quality of performed works in compliance with applicable company process and procedures
• Ensure correct compliance with applicable regulatory requirements
• Maintain the required engineering licence and applicable type rating as required to perform duties and be responsible for ensuring licences and type ratings do not lapse and are kept up to date
• Accountable for providing professional communication with customers and contacts as required
• Individual responsibility for booking accurate, and consistent timekeeping in applicable software system

Essential

Skills, Qualifications and Experience required:

• A UK CAA Part 66 Licence Category B1 or B2
• Previous aircraft base maintenance experience with a wide knowledge and skill range in servicing, inspection repair and modifications
• Satisfactory recency as required for issue of applicable certifying approval
• Ability to work flexibly as part of a team
• Strong communication and organisation skills
