Wincanton are looking for 2 x Class 2 Drivers

Join our team in Doncaster to carry out home deliveries for our B&Q contract. You will be delivering various B&Q products to customer homes as part of a two-person crew.

Work schedule: fixed week - Tuesday to Saturday, start times between 06:00 and 07:00.

Opportunities: Become a Driver Assessor and earn a premium on top of your salary.

Salary of £33,642.08 per annum

How will you contribute:

• Ensure accurate, timely delivery of customer products.
• Follow safe working practices to ensure safety for yourself and others.
• Provide excellent customer service and handle customer issues professionally.
• Carry out multi-drop deliveries within the delivery window safely.
• Report vehicle defects to the Transport Office.
• Attend necessary training for the Driver role.
• Comply with Tachograph and Road Transport Legislation.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness at all times.

What we need from you:

• No more than 6 points on your licence.
• Valid Class 2 licence and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Valid Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC); ongoing CPC training paid for by us.
• Enthusiastic, reliable, with a commitment to excellent customer service.
• Good timekeeping and ability to work independently.
• Strong communication skills and flexible attitude.
• Good geographical knowledge.
• DBS check upon employment.
