Job summary

Synextra is seeking an Azure Consultant to design and deliver Azure solutions for customers, from discovery through implementation and handover. You will work across diverse environments, considering security, reliability, performance and cost while supporting pre-sales and project scoping.

The role emphasizes customer architecture, hands-on delivery and collaboration with cloud engineering, platform and security teams. A hybrid, UK-based position with a 37.5-hour week is offered.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing and implementing Microsoft Azure solutions in production.
• Strong understanding of Azure networking, identity, compute and storage and how they connect to customer infra.
• Experience delivering migrations or infra projects with accountability for technical outcomes.
• Confidence leading customer discussions and explaining recommendations.
• Ability to turn requirements into clear designs, implementation plans and docs.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform) and scripting/automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery sessions to understand business objectives and constraints.
• Design Azure environments covering networking, identity, compute, storage, security and governance.
• Build Terraform-based deployments and ensure repeatability and maintainability.
• Plan and deliver migrations with testing, cutover and rollback.
• Provide pre-sales input with technical proposals and realistic delivery estimates.
• Deliver thorough handovers and documentation for ongoing support.
