Job summary

Network IT is seeking a hands-on Platform Engineer with strong Azure administration, server infrastructure, monitoring, endpoint security, and automation experience to support hybrid environments in Milton Keynes. You will automate deployments using PowerShell and Bash, install and onboard Windows and Linux servers to Azure Arc, and manage AMA, Azure Monitor dashboards, and security agents.

The role collaborates with Infrastructure, Operations, and Cyber Security teams to keep services secure

Qualifications

• Hands-on Azure administration experience.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and support Microsoft Azure infrastructure services.
• Onboard Windows and Linux servers to Azure Arc.
• Manage Azure Arc-enabled servers and extensions.
• Assist with hybrid cloud integration and infrastructure modernization.
• Configure and monitor Azure Monitor Agent, dashboards, and alerts.
• Deploy XDR/EDR agents and support endpoint security.
• Automate deployments using PowerShell and Bash.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and ensure security and reliability.
