We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Azure Platform Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Azure infrastructure solutions to support Softcat's cloud computing needs. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Azure services, strong problem‑solving abilities, and a proven track record of implementing robust and scalable infrastructure solutions.

Responsibilities

• Designing, deploying, and managing Azure infrastructure solutions, ensuring they meet organisational requirements and industry best practices.
• Implementing and maintaining Azure Virtual Networks, VMs, Storage Accounts, and other related services.
• Developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and Terraform code in Azure DevOps.
• Managing the promotion of platform changes through environments as per SDLC.
• Keeping up to date with the latest developments in Azure and action anything that is relevant.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Azure Platform Engineer or similar role.
• Hands‑on experience with Azure services, including but not limited to Virtual Machines, Azure Active Directory, Azure Networking, and Storage.
• Ability to deploy Azure resources via the portal and Terraform.

• Hybrid working - 2 days in the office and 3 days working from home.
