Job summary
RedRock Consulting is seeking a Cloud Engineer with hands-on experience migrating workloads from on‑premises into Azure. You will support an ongoing migration programme, contribute immediately across the portfolio, and work across infrastructure and cloud environments to understand workloads.
The strongest candidates balance Azure engineering, migration, and IaC expertise, rather than a purely architectural focus, and can troubleshoot complex cloud issues independently within a team.
Qualifications
- Essential – migration of workloads from on-premises to Azure.
- Strong experience across Azure IaaS and PaaS.
- Experience with virtualised networking and Azure networking.
- Strong understanding of DNS.
- Experience with Active Directory and Entra ID.
- IaC experience using Terraform and/or Bicep.
- Experience designing, deploying and supporting Azure infrastructure.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud/infrastructure issues.
Responsibilities
- Support an ongoing programme of migrations to Azure and hit the ground running.
- Contribute to remaining migration activity across the portfolio.
- Work across infrastructure and cloud environments to understand workloads and dependencies.
- Support delivery of migrations into Azure and resolve issues as they arise.
