Job summary

Irwin Mitchell is seeking a technically strong Integrations Engineer to join an Agile product team. You will design, develop and implement Azure-based integration solutions that connect applications, systems and services across the business.

You will collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts and Engineers to ensure secure, efficient data flows and contribute to continuous improvement of our integration capability. A hybrid working model and a supportive environment are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Azure integration services (Logic Apps, Functions, Service Bus, Event Grid).
• Experience designing and supporting system integrations across cloud and on-premise environments.
• Knowledge of integration patterns, APIs, messaging technologies and event-driven architectures.
• Strong programming experience in C#, Java, JavaScript, Python or similar.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, source control and CI/CD deployment pipelines.
• Experience troubleshooting enterprise-scale integrations.

Responsibilities

• Designing, building and supporting Azure integration solutions using Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus, Azure Event Grid and Azure API Management.
• Developing integration logic, data mappings and system interactions to enable seamless information exchange between platforms.
• Building secure and reliable integrations that meet security, compliance and governance requirements.
• Testing and validating integration solutions through unit, end-to-end and workflow testing.
• Implementing monitoring, logging and error-handling processes to maximise reliability and performance.
• Supporting and troubleshooting live integrations, conducting root cause analysis and resolving issues.
• Automating build and deployment processes using Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Managing source control and supporting continuous improvement of engineering processes.
• Producing technical documentation, support guides and design artefacts.
• Collaborating with colleagues across Technology and the wider business to translate requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Contributing to architecture discussions, prototyping activities and future integration strategy.
