Job summary

Sword Group in the United Kingdom is seeking an Azure Infrastructure Engineer to join the Digital Platforms team. You will design, build, migrate and support Microsoft Azure environments for a range of customers, contributing across the full Azure lifecycle from discovery to optimisation.

You will work hands-on with Azure services, implement IaC with Bicep/ARM, and help customers secure scalable cloud solutions while delivering clear technical guidance and documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering Azure infrastructure across projects or managed services.
• Hands-on design, deployment and support of Azure environments.
• Knowledge of CAF and Well‑Architected Framework principles.
• Experience with IaC using Bicep or ARM templates.
• Collaborates with Cloud Engineers, Consultants and Architects.
• Excellent documentation and customer-facing communication.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, deploy and support Azure infrastructure for customers.
• Work across the cloud adoption lifecycle from discovery to optimisation.
• Plan and deliver migrations from on-premises to Azure using migration tools.
• Configure and support Azure compute, networking, storage and security.
• Produce clear technical artefacts and guidance for customers.
