In this role, you will have responsibilities related to infrastructure, including planning updates, implementing new Azure cloud solutions, and producing quality technical documentation of all processes. You will also support more complex 2nd/3rd line requests that require solid technical experience.

The ideal candidate will be an analytical thinker with deep knowledge of Azure, adaptable to various situations, and possess excellent communication skills.

Based in Avonmouth on a hybrid working basis, 2/3 days per week.

Responsibilities include:

• Designing and deploying Azure infrastructure solutions
• Ensuring high availability and disaster recovery for Azure services
• Managing security risks via Intune and Azure policies
• Developing and implementing on-premise to cloud strategies, including migration from AD to Entra ID
• Migrating end-user devices using Intune and AutoPilot
• Collaborating with DevOps and security teams to ensure best practices

About you:

• 5+ years in infrastructure engineering, with at least 3 years focused on Azure
• Scripting experience with PowerShell, Python, or Bash
• Strong networking knowledge including VPNs, VNet peering, Load Balancers, DNS, and Azure Firewall
• Experience with identity & security management, Azure EntraID & Active Directory, RBAC, Conditional Access, Microsoft Defender for Cloud
• Experience with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights
• Proficiency with Azure Backup and Site Recovery
• Understanding of cloud cost management and billing
• Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to work independently or in a team
• Experience deploying and managing IaaS and PaaS services
• Knowledge of scripting languages: Shell, Python, PowerShell
• Azure certifications AZ-400 & AZ-305 are a plus but not essential
• Must have the right to work in the UK
