Job summary

Hanson Lee is seeking an Infrastructure Cloud Engineer for a London-based insurer with hybrid working. The role focuses on designing, deploying and maintaining secure Azure infrastructure and enabling CI/CD with Azure DevOps.

You will collaborate with data teams on cloud ingestion, storage and analytics while building automation with PowerShell/Python and ensuring security, monitoring and resilience across cloud workloads.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience administering, configuring, and migrating Azure and related applications.
• Insurance or regulated industry background preferred.
• Strong grounding in Azure networking, security, IAM.
• IaC experience with Terraform, Bicep, or ARM.
• Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipeline delivery and support.
• Scripting skills: PowerShell and/or Python.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune and related cloud tooling.
• Experience supporting SQL platforms or cloud data workloads.

Responsibilities

• Designing, deploying and maintaining secure, scalable Azure infrastructure using IaC.
• Enabling CI/CD and release automation with Azure DevOps for cloud workloads.
• Partnering with Data teams on cloud ingestion, storage and analytics while supporting BI infra.
• Building automation with PowerShell/Python to cut manual overhead.
• Implementing monitoring, logging, backup, DR and resilience practices.
• Embedding security-by-design and coordinating with Cyber Security on posture and compliance.
