Job summary

Leap29 in London seeks a DevOps Engineer in a hybrid role to own Azure DevOps pipelines, AKS deployments and cloud automation. You will collaborate with software, infrastructure and cloud teams to improve automation, reliability and security.

The role focuses on CI/CD, containerisation with Docker, IaC, vulnerability management and integrating security tooling while aligning with governance standards.

Qualifications

• Design, build and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines across environments.
• Automate build, testing and deployment processes to reduce manual steps.
• Manage Kubernetes environments with AKS for containerised apps.
• Work with development teams to implement CI/CD best practices.
• Adopt Docker, containerisation and Infrastructure as Code.
• Identify and remediate vulnerabilities across code, pipelines and Azure.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines across environments.
• Automate build, testing and deployment processes to improve release efficiency.
• Support and manage Kubernetes environments (AKS) for containerised apps.
• Collaborate with software teams to implement CI/CD best practices.
• Promote Docker/containerisation and Infrastructure as Code adoption.
• Integrate security tooling into pipelines (SAST/DAST/dep scanning).
• Manage patching and updates across container images and Azure resources.
• Contribute to cloud governance, security standards and continuous improvement.
• Maintain secure, reliable, and scalable cloud environments.
