Azure DevOps Engineer (Outside IR35)
Location: Remote (anywhere in Northern Ireland/Ireland)
Contract Duration: 3 months (initially)
Day Rate: £400- £500, Outside IR35

Opportunity Overview:

An exciting greenfield project is seeking an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer for a 3-month contract, working remotely within Northern Ireland or Ireland. This role offers the chance to lead DevOps strategy and implementation in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure a robust, scalable deployment pipeline.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of the Azure DevOps strategy, ensuring best practices across CI/CD, automation, and infrastructure-as-code.
• Design, create, and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines (.yml files) for automated deployments.
• Implement and manage Bicep files for infrastructure provisioning.
• Write and maintain Bash scripts to support automation and configuration management.
• Set up and configure site-to-site VPNs to ensure secure connectivity.
• Collaborate closely with development teams and business stakeholders to align DevOps processes with project goals.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years in DevOps, with strong expertise in Azure DevOps.
• Proven experience creating and managing Azure DevOps pipelines
• Hands-on proficiency with Bicep for infrastructure-as-code.
• Strong scripting skills using Bash for automation.
• Experience in configuring site-to-site VPNs within an enterprise setting.
• Track record of leading DevOps strategy in complex or greenfield environments.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to guide teams on best practices.
