Job summary

UBDS Group is seeking an Azure DevOps Engineer to build and manage secure, scalable cloud platforms. You will own deployment pipelines, automate infrastructure, and implement security controls while collaborating with architects and delivery teams.

The role emphasizes hands-on Azure engineering, Terraform/Bicep IaC, and robust CI/CD practices within an Agile environment. A focus on reliability, performance and modern deployment methods is essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure in cloud/DevOps
• Experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines and repos
• IaC using Terraform and/or Bicep
• Knowledge of automated deployments and provisioning
• Familiarity with Azure Storage including Azure Files
• Git and source-control proficiency
• Understanding of DevOps principles and CI/CD
• Scripting with PowerShell, Bash or Python
• Experience in Agile teams

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Azure cloud environments and infrastructure.
• Create and manage IaC with Terraform and/or Bicep.
• Design and improve CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
• Automate provisioning, configuration and deployments.
• Manage Azure Storage (including Azure Files) and storage accounts.
• Support file shares, permissions and hybrid storage solutions.
• Troubleshoot connectivity, access and performance issues.
• Develop reusable deployment templates and modules.
• Implement automated testing and security checks in pipelines.
• Collaborate with architects and senior engineers in Agile teams.
• Maintain documentation and runbooks.
• Monitor, log and alert cloud environments.
