Qualifications

Job Title: DevOps Engineer

Location:

Staines-upon-Thames, United Kingdom

Salary:

£65k – 75k per year

Job Description:

Our client is seeking an experienced DevOps engineer to join their award-winning company. You will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and documenting Azure-hosted environments to ensure they are robust, scalable, and cost-effective. Your role will include:

  • Creating and suggesting new platforms
  • Improving and deploying platforms
  • Supporting and guiding the development team with environment decisions or issues
  • Technical support for application tickets and Paid OoH deployments & Rota

Work Arrangement: Hybrid working – 2 days in the office

Key Skills & Experience:
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience implementing and maintaining DevOps processes
  • Experience with Docker containers (Linux and Windows)
  • Knowledge of centralized logging and health checks
  • Proficiency with Azure Pipelines, Azure SQL databases and elastic pools, Azure SQL MI
  • Experience with Azure Git or similar source control, Azure Service Bus or similar message bus solutions (e.g., RabbitMQ)
  • Familiarity with Octopus Deploy
  • Knowledge of C# .NET
  • Experience with Seq, Loki, or other logging software
