Job summary

We are seeking an Azure Cloud-Native Application Developer to join our team in London on a hybrid basis. You will develop cloud-native applications using Azure App Services, Functions and Logic Apps, and refactor legacy systems for Azure.

Collaborating with architects and DevOps to enable scalable deployments, you’ll build APIs and integrate third-party services with Azure API Management while writing clean, maintainable code that follows best practices.

Qualifications

• Experience with Azure PaaS services and cloud apps.
• Strong C#, .NET and SQL experience.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and agile methods.
• Azure Developer certification is a plus.

The location of the role is London (hybrid working).

The duration of the contract is 6 months.

The pay rate on offer £650 - £685 per day (via Umbrella agency).

Role and responsibility

• Develop cloud-native applications using Azure App Services, Functions, and Logic Apps.
• Refactor and re-platform legacy applications for Azure.
• Collaborate with architects and DevOps engineers to ensure seamless deployment and scalability.
• Build APIs and integrate third-party services using Azure API Management.
• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code adhering to best practices.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues in cloud applications and services.

Key Skills And Experience

• Solid experience with Azure PaaS offerings, including App Services, Functions, and Logic Apps.
• Proficiency in C#, .NET, ASP .NET, MS SQL, Azure DevOps
• Experience developing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-native applications on Azure. Familiarity with DevOps practices and agile methodologies to drive efficient collaboration and speed to delivery.
• Azure Developer certification is a plus, but hands-on experience is equally valued.
