Job summary

A major insurance company in Central London is seeking a Data Warehouse Engineer to design and optimize data warehouse solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience with SQL, ETL/ELT tools, and knowledge of the Azure cloud data stack. Responsibilities include collaboration with various stakeholders and support for the migration of legacy systems to Azure. The role requires excellent communication skills and a strong problem-solving mindset. This position is contract-based for 6 months.

Qualifications

• Expertise in data warehouse design and dimensional modelling.
• Experience with ETL/ELT tools including SSIS, Azure Data Factory, and Databricks.
• Knowledge of Azure cloud data stack including SQL Pool and Data Lake.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize SQL-based data warehouse solutions.
• Develop ETL/ELT pipelines and implement dimensional modelling.
• Integrate data from various internal and external sources.
