What You’ll Be Doing

The Azure Data Scientist (known internally as Data Scientist) will be joining us as a key member of our highly regarded AI Team, playing a vital role in developing and deploying data science solutions that deliver measurable business value.

Core responsibilities include:

  • Designing, developing, and implementing statistical models and machine learning algorithms
  • Translating complex data into actionable insights for business stakeholders
  • Collaborating across teams to identify data-driven solutions
  • Communicating findings to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Supporting data preparation and integration for strategic modelling
  • Contributing to MLOps pipelines and lifecycle model management
  • Building scalable pipelines and workflows using tools like Databricks and Azure Synapse
  • Conducting A/B testing, model validation, and performance monitoring
  • Supporting both predictive and rule-based systems
  • Performing root cause and time series analysis to improve processes
  • Maintaining data quality, governance, and compliance standards

Requirements

We’re looking for someone with demonstrated experience in applying data science techniques to real-world problems, along with proficiency in Python, SQL, and PySpark. You should be confident working with tools such as Databricks, SQL Server, and Azure AI/ML Services, and have a solid grasp of machine learning, statistical analysis, and predictive modelling.

You’ll need to be a critical thinker with excellent communication skills and a flair for translating complex data into clear business value. Familiarity with data governance, MLOps, and visualisation tools like Power BI is key.
