Job summary

Harnham is seeking a Data Engineer in Birmingham to own the design and delivery of Azure-based data solutions. The role focuses on building a modern data platform and reusable data services to support reporting, analytics and AI initiatives.

You will design end-to-end ETL/ELT pipelines, develop scalable data models, and optimise pipelines for quality and performance while collaborating across teams in a hybrid work setup.

Qualifications

• Proven expertise in Azure data engineering technologies.
• Experience designing and developing end-to-end ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Strong SQL development and data modelling skills.
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes and deployment best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver end-to-end ETL/ELT pipelines from requirements through production deployment.
• Develop and maintain scalable data models, transformations and data products using Azure tech.
• Optimize data pipelines for performance, quality, consistency and availability.
