Job summary

Barclay Simpson is seeking a Cloud Security (Azure) Engineer in central London to ensure the Azure estate is secure, monitored, and compliant. You will deliver security integration projects, provide technical guidance to cloud teams, and automate controls using Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, and Entra ID.

Visa sponsorship is not available. The role requires strong security engineering skills, hands-on Azure experience, scripting ability, and familiarity with Wiz.

Qualifications

• Solid security engineering background in cloud environments.
• Hands-on Azure experience with relevant certifications (e.g., AZ-500).
• Strong scripting skills and automation mindset.

Responsibilities

• Deliver cloud security integration projects alongside BAU activities.
• Build and enhance Azure security services (Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, Policy, Entra ID, Monitor).
• Automate security controls and compliance checks; develop playbooks and policies.
• Improve Azure logging within the SIEM (Sentinel).
