Square One Resources Limited is recruiting a Cloud Platform & Security Architect for a Tier 1 Bank in London on a hybrid basis. The role focuses on defining and governing cloud architecture across Azure, security and resilience, with a lead on IaC using Terraform and Azure DevOps.

You will shape target-state architectures for Azure, hybrid infrastructure and networking, drive security patterns, Zero Trust principles and ensure alignment with governance and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• CCSP or CISSP or equivalent certification.
• Strong knowledge of Azure architecture across networking, identity, security, compute, storage.
• Experience with Azure landing zones, RBAC, PIM and cloud governance.
• Knowledge of Active Directory, Entra ID, Conditional Access, MFA, SSO and certificates.
• Experience with Microsoft Defender and Sentinel.
• IaC with Terraform and Azure DevOps.
• Security and risk requirements integration into reference architectures.
• Hybrid infrastructure and disaster recovery architecture understanding.

Responsabilités

• Define and maintain target-state Azure and hybrid infrastructure architecture.
• Develop reference architectures for landing zones, networking and security.
• Provide architectural direction for cloud migration and modernization.
• Define security patterns, guardrails and Zero Trust controls.
• Define IaC patterns using Terraform and Azure DevOps.
• Ensure alignment with FSCS policies and regulatory requirements.
• Govern architecture standards and participate in design authority forums.
