Howdens Joinery is seeking a Cloud Platform Engineer to join the Cloud Team in the UK. You will design, develop, test and deploy secure, scalable infrastructure across on-premise and Azure cloud, automating workflows and monitoring performance to drive developer productivity.

Based in Northampton or Raunds, this permanent role is on-site two days per week. You will build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, support containerized deployments with Docker/Kubernetes, and collaborate with architects and

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Azure Cloud IaC experience using Terraform.
• Experience building and managing Kubernetes environments.
• Azure DevOps or similar CI/CD platforms.
• Cloud security and connectivity with IaC (Terraform).
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes containerization.
• Automated CI/CD pipelines using SonarQube, Fortify, Selenium.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain and deploy secure, high-availability systems.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines across environments.
• Design scalable on-premise and cloud-native infrastructure.
• Develop governance and guidance for CI/CD usage.
• Work with architects and Release Manager on deployment steps.
• Build containerized solutions using Docker/Kubernetes for Azure Cloud.
