Job summary

Amentum is seeking a talented Cloud Integration Engineer to join our growing cyber security team. You will design, develop and support Azure Integration Services, cloud infrastructure and automation to deliver resilient, secure integration capabilities that underpin critical business services.

You’ll work with architecture, security, project delivery and operations, contributing to digital transformation while reducing risk. Hybrid, flexible patterns available across the UK.

Qualifications

• A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Designing and delivering cloud-based integration solutions.
• Azure networking and security services.
• GitHub Actions and automated deployment pipelines.
• Data migration, transformation and integration projects.
• Producing technical documentation and implementation plans.
• Azure API Management (APIM).
• Monitoring and supporting cloud services in a production environment.
• Scripting and automation using PowerShell or Python.
• Working in a regulated or security-conscious environment.
• Collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, configure and maintain Azure Integration Services (Service Bus, Data Factory, APIM, Functions, Logic Apps).
• Establish messaging services using Service Bus queues, topics and subscriptions.
• Implement and support integration patterns (routing, orchestration, event-driven).
• Configure and monitor dead-letter queues; integrate with Azure Monitor.
• Support API onboarding, configuration and lifecycle management in APIM.
• Design and deploy enterprise-grade Azure cloud infrastructure with security and governance.
• Develop, maintain IaC using Terraform; create reusable templates and modules.
• Develop, maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions); automate deployments.
• Design data integration, migration and transformation solutions.
• Provide ongoing operational support for cloud and integration platforms.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation and runbooks.
