Job summary

La Fosse in Manchester is seeking an experienced Datacentre & Cloud Engineer to strengthen a global technology environment, focusing on Azure, datacentre automation and virtualization. You’ll operate at 3rd-line level, providing expert technical support while helping shape improvements across cloud and infrastructure estate.

You’ll work on complex projects, contribute to automation initiatives and develop your expertise in a broad modern tech stack.

Qualifications

• Extensive Azure infrastructure experience with hands-on engineering and automation.
• Proven ability to design, deploy and optimise cloud architectures.
• AZ-104 or equivalent Azure certification.
• Experience with IaC using Terraform, ARM, Bicep or PowerShell.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy and manage Azure infrastructure with focus on availability, security, scalability and cost optimisation.
• Use IaC to automate provisioning with Terraform, ARM, Bicep, PowerShell or similar.
• Act as 3rd-line escalation point, diagnosing and resolving complex infra incidents.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
• AZ-104 or equivalent Azure expertise.
• Experience deploying and managing Azure IaaS and public cloud infra.
• Strong IaC knowledge: Terraform, ARM, Bicep and/or PowerShell.
