A leading financial consultancy seeks an Azure Engineer on a contract basis to support a banking client's global cloud service team. A Financial Consultancy is looking to hire a temp Azure Engineer to support a banking client to work within their global cloud service team to build scalable, reusable Azure infrastructure in an automated manner.

Reporting to the Azure engineering lead, you will build and manage the Azure foundation platform to enable application deployments using Infrastructure as code (Terraform). In addition to working closely with cybersecurity to ensure the platform and deployments adhere to the bank's security policies and compliance requirements.

Hybrid: 3 days per week to Canary Wharf (Will reduce to 2 days once settled)

Duration: 6months - potential for extension

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience building services in Azure, utilising a variety of services
  • Expert in understanding DevOps principles, IAC concepts, and techniques
  • Demonstrable experience building and maintaining an Azure environment using IAC (Terraform, ARM, Powershell)
  • Knowledge on security and compliance (IAM, cloud compliance, auditing, monitoring tools)
  • A track record of constantly pushing/looking for ways of improvement nd an excellent understanding of the mechanisms necessary to successfully implement change
