Job summary

VolkerWessels UK is seeking a Systems Developer to support design, development and maintenance of business-critical applications. Based onsite in Hoddesdon, you will contribute to secure, scalable software solutions across the full SDLC and cloud-based integrations.

Collaborating with project teams and stakeholders, you will ensure effective delivery, adhere to security governance, and produce high-quality technical documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience with Azure cloud technologies (Logic Apps, Functions)
• Strong knowledge of APIs, integrations, and web services
• Proficient with Git and CI/CD practices
• Experience supporting applications in a live environment

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and support applications, integrations, and software solutions.
• Enhance existing systems for performance, reliability, and data integrity.
• Work with Azure technologies including Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, Key Vault, and API Management.
• Support CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub.
• Produce and maintain high-quality technical documentation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and support teams to ensure successful delivery.
• Adhere to development standards, security controls, and governance requirements.
