The Opportunity

We are looking for an Azure Cloud Analyst to join an established bank on an initial 6-month contract. This role involves supporting a large-scale cloud migration project, working alongside Data Experts to facilitate the migration to the cloud for the first time. You will work in an Azure environment, delivering data-driven insights to internal teams. The ideal candidate will have a background in SQL, Data Analysis, and proficiency in several Azure products; programming skills in R/Python are a plus.

Key Duties:
  1. Supporting the Data Engineer in building Azure Cloud
  2. Creating PowerBI dashboards within Azure Cloud
  3. Cleaning, wrangling, and summarising large and complex data sets
  4. Identifying trends and communicating insights from data
  5. Collaborating with other data analysts and sharing knowledge
  6. Building ETL processes
Key Skills:
  • Experience in producing quantitative reports or business intelligence
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, lookups, formulas)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and concentration
