Job summary

AND Digital is seeking a Principal AI Engineer to architect and deliver an enterprise-grade Microsoft Azure AI Foundry platform. You will set foundational architecture, governance, security, scalability and cost-management to support production AI workflows.

The role operates across Azure infrastructure, AI platform engineering, security, MLOps and FinOps teams, delivering reusable patterns and standards for AI adoption in a large enterprise.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in Azure cloud architecture, engineering or platform engineering.
• 1-2+ years' experience focused on enterprise AI/ML platform engineering.
• Proven experience working on large-scale or enterprise Azure environments.
• Strong track record of translating business and technical requirements into enterprise architecture.
• Experience working collaboratively with AI Engineers, Cloud Engineers, Security, DevOps and Architecture teams.

Responsibilities

• Architect and design scalable, resilient Azure AI Foundry environments.
• Define reusable architecture patterns for AI workloads and environments.
• Establish platform standards covering resources, deployments, observability and management.
• Work with AI Engineers to design AI Agents and agentic workflows.
• Establish governance, security, access controls and compliance for AI workloads.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and automation for AI platform components.
• Monitor performance, capacity, and cost management for AI workloads.
