Overview: We are seeking a Senior Axiom Developer to join our team and work with a prestigious tier 1 investment banking client. This role is crucial as they ramp up efforts to meet the Basel 3.1 and FRTB regulatory deadlines by the end of this year, with implementation in the UK slated for July . The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in capital and capital solutions within large banking organisations, particularly those in the EMEA region.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement robust Axiom solutions to meet regulatory requirements, including Basel 3.1 and FRTB.

Ensure all developments comply with relevant regulatory standards, focusing on capital requirements.

Provide technical leadership and guidance within the team.

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, project managers, and other developers, to ensure seamless integration and delivery of solutions.

Optimise the performance of Axiom applications to ensure efficient processing and reporting.

Maintain detailed documentation of development processes and provide regular progress reports to stakeholders.

Desired Skills and Experience

Capital Solutions Expertise: Proven experience in developing and implementing capital solutions in a large matrix banking organisation.

Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, particularly Basel 3.1 and FRTB, with a general knowledge of EMEA regulatory environments.

Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Axiom development.

Banking Experience: Previous experience working in large American or European banks, preferably in a similar capacity.

Mid to Senior Level Development: While we are seeking a senior developer, exceptionally bright and capable mid-level developers with relevant capital experience will also be considered.
