A critical aspect of the role will involve designing robust, scalable AWS solutions for Blue Yonder Dispatcher WMS 2022, ensuring seamless performance, availability, and integration within our client's technology landscape.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Design and architect secure, scalable, and high-performing AWS solutions tailored to Blue Yonder Dispatcher WMS 2022 requirements.
  2. Collaborate with stakeholders across IT, operations, and external vendors to capture architecture and integration needs.
  3. Define best practice infrastructure-as-code templates and CI/CD pipelines for WMS deployments.
  4. Lead the design of cloud-native services (Lambda, ECS, SQS, API Gateway) aligned to operational workflows and warehouse data models.
  5. Ensure alignment with compliance, security, and governance policies.
  6. Provide technical leadership across cloud migration, system integration, and WMS digital transformation initiatives.
  7. Support configuration and integration strategies to enable real-time communication between Blue Yonder WMS and third-party applications.

Essential Skills & Experience

  1. Proven experience as a Technical Architect designing solutions on AWS within supply chain, logistics, or warehouse domains.
  2. Hands-on experience working with or integrating Blue Yonder (JDA) Dispatcher WMS, ideally the 2022 version.
  3. Deep knowledge of core AWS services such as Lambda, EC2, S3, RDS, CloudFormation, API Gateway, and IAM.
  4. Strong grasp of system integration, microservices, containerisation (Docker, ECS/EKS), and event-driven architecture.
  5. Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) and DevOps practices.
  6. Understanding of warehouse operational workflows and WMS data models.
  7. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  8. Security Requirement: Due to the nature of this role, candidates must be British citizens and will be required to undergo security clearance vetting as part of the onboarding process.
